I held the entire US Congress at bay with my purse
My new hero of the week, is Anna Morgan Lloyd, the Indiana granny that was tried and convicted of “Parading” in the US Capitol building on Jan. 6. My grandma was a spy-courier in WWI, but nowhere near as scary as this tough-as-nails insurrectionist who apparently terrorized the entire elected federal lawmaking body without even breaking a sweat. And yet, the current invocation of the Infrastructure bill before Congress regards her as a “socially and financially disadvantaged” person, just because she carries a purse. Wow. Just wow.
